WE NEED YOU TO FILL THESE SEATS!

 

With out our volunteers we would not have a fire department; our firefighters make this department the greatest place in Dashwood to Volunteer!  We are looking for a few more of you, our citizens, to join our team.

 You have the opportunity to give your today for someone else’s tomorrow; help save lives; save property and most of all protect each other!

 

What we seek:

 

Community minded and spirited individuals who like to be involved in team efforts and are looking for a challenging, rewarding experience. 

 

You need to be:

Ø      Live in Dashwood (Save on Gas Station @ 3377 Island Hwy to Shaw’s Hill @ 5251 Island Hwy)

Ø      Team orientated

Ø      19 years of age or older (16 is wishing to be a junior member)

Ø      Healthy and physically fit

Ø      A good driver (valid drivers license and good driving record)

Ø      Of good character (RCMP security check required)

Ø      Able to help save lives, protect property, and have a lot of fun!

We offer:

Ø      Involvement in community activities ranging from firefighting, rescue, first responder medical services, to public education events.

Ø      Progressive Training.

Ø      We are flexible to meet your time commitments; we work around our members lives to make it as easy as possible for you to be a part of our team.

Ø      New friends, and acquaintances

Ø      Good insurance plans, both on and off duty.
